Abstract
Open bite is difficult to treatment only by orthodontic therapy. The incidence, etiology, skeletal pattern, and treatment time of open bite were discussed. The various treatment methods to obtain good results were reported.
The case reports were as following.
1. The cases by habit control were reported.
2. The case with orthopedic force was reported.
3. The cases by eliminating wedging effect were reported.
4. The case by orthognathic surgery was reported.
